Asad is a Lead Strategic Consultant who turns complex social initiatives into work that functions in the real world. He founded A Spark Consulting in 2021 to help foundations, governments, and healthcare systems remove friction, bridge the gap between good intentions and real results, and build the structures needed to deliver on their mandates — through strategic consulting, qualitative research, co-design, and experiential leadership development.

He operates from the conviction that those closest to the challenge hold its most valuable insights. That frame runs through every engagement, from public-system redesigns in child welfare to immersive leadership training for healthcare equity, helping leaders build services that are clearer, more responsive, and better aligned with the people they exist to serve.

In 2025, he was part of a Bloom Works team awarded the Service Design Award by the Service Design Network for designing kin-specific foster home licensing standards — co-design work informed by 430+ participants and 50+ child welfare agencies across U.S. states, territories, and tribes. The standards are now being adopted nationally.
